Portal 2 won't work, something with my video card?

I tried checking the requirements, but it said everything was fine except my Video card. my video card worked on all my other steam games, so why did it suddenly quit on me? My card is:Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. I don't want to buy anew card, so what should I do?
