Google autosearches while i type!!!1!!!!!?

How do I get google to stop searching anew each time I type a letter? It is so annoying and gets in my way and I am seriously going to stop using google if I can't turn this off. Sometimes I like to type while I look at search results b/c I am copying something IN the search results but Google makes this IMPOSSIBLE!!
