My computer mouse keeps freezing help me?

i did every thing, its been like this for the past few weeks, i went to device manager installed it and reinstalled it, check for viruses and found none, tried to update it but it found no matches and i took the rubber ball out and cleaned it and the inside, do i need anew mouse, if so how much are they? please help me
