IPHONE-WIRELESS HELP?

I have an iphone 3gs that i got last year for christmas, i recently moved to anew house and my wireless works on my laptop but not my iphone. I have turned off the wifi countless times, everything. My phone will pick up the wireless and the symbol will replace the edge symbol, but it will either go away quickly or just wont use it. How do i get it to work??!!
